Japanese rider tragically died today, Sunday, September 5, after being wounded in a crash during race in Misano Moto2. On the day Sunday, September 5th during the race at the Misano World Circuit Moto2, Tomizawa Shoya rider aged 19 suffered a serious accident and subsequent skull, chest and abdominal trauma.
Given the seriousness of his condition - especially for chest and abdominal trauma - Shoya Tomizawa treated in a medical center Misano World Circuit and placed under artificial respiration. Rider who was taken by ambulance to the hospital Riccione accompanied by two doctors - the helicopter was not used to allow for proper respiratory support to be done. Despite various attempts to resuscitate him sadly surrendered Shoya Tomizawa injury in 14.20.
Everyone involved in MotoGP extends deepest condolences to the families and friends Shoya Tomizawa.
