Blogger and Picasa will not disappear, obviously - are two of the most popular Google products. Instead, in accordance with two sources informed about the problem, Google is planning to rename Picasa "Google Images" and Blogger "Google Blog." A few of the other brands of Google could be affected, although our sources clearly indicate that YouTube isn't the name. Close the technology giants Google Video has failed the playback quality Internet service in May.

This task just isn't unprecedented, Google acquired JotSpot in 2006 with his fantastic name being a Google site in 2008. In 2007, Google bought GrandCentral VoIP platform and re-launched Google Voice in 2009advantages and disadvantages
Picasa and Google buying of Blogger as well, although two companies are portion of Google empire considerably longer. Picasa was acquired in 2004 and Blogger (co-founded by Evan Williams of Twitter) has become acquired in 2003 and it is one of the 10 popular websites in the world. In spite of the rebranding might interfere with some existing customers, Google also provides the opportunity to fully integrate the 2 services Google +.

Switching from Picasa to Blogger and Google Images and Google Blog is going to happen "in a month . 5 months," we were told. Data in line with the public launch of Google's ability +. Mashable said he expected the public debut of Google + by July 31. The date is vital since these days all private Google Profile will probably be deleted.

The world thinks that Google includes a personal profile following the public launch of Google +. Instead, the business may well encourage users who would like more privacy to work with Circle to the shepherd several friends.

The integration efforts of the brand could be the largest in company history - hasn't replaced a big property, including Blogger. Development of the most popular blogging service which has received much love new additions. In March, Google announced that Blogger will get a significant overhaul. We doubt lots of people should include revision from the rebranding, though.

It makes sense for Google + Blogger and Picasa - both of them are social goods that improve people utilize it. It 'important to note that Google has more camera features, the products that individuals trust using technology to Picasa. It 'also imperative that you note that Google Picasa + photo does not have any label.

President Obama said USA TODAY Hold New Debt

USA today barack Obama
President Obama said today he'll talk with Republican and Democratic leaders Thursday for the debt ceiling dispute, urging these phones "do something big" to lessen the country's red ink with "a balanced approach" that addresses both taxes and spending cuts.

"It's my hope that anybody will leave their ultimatums at the door, that we'll all leave our political rhetoric with the door," Obama said during brief remarks within the White House press room.

Obama said he and aides met with lawmakers on the July Fourth weekend making some progress, though he added," I don't want to fool anybody. We still have to function with some real differences."

The brand new round of meetings will need place because clock ticks for the government's $14.3 trillion debt ceiling. The Treasury says and also able to pay every one of the government's bills after Aug. 2, creating the chance of a default.

"This should not conclude the last second," Obama said.

Obama rejected the idea of a temporary boost in the debt ceiling while the parties continued debating taxes and spending cuts. He was quoted saying, "I do not think the American people sent us here in order to avoid tough problems. That's, actually, what drives them nuts about Washington."

That's greeted positively by House Speaker John Boehner, who said a big deal is better -- but not one that includes tax increases.

"I'm pleased the president stated today we need to address the big, long-term challenges facing our country," Boehner said. " Our nation's long-term future requires presidential leadership to address those challenges."

But, he said, tax increases of the kind Obama is seeking won't pass Congress. "I'm pleased to discuss these problems in the White House, but such discussions will probably be fruitless until the president recognizes economic and legislative reality," he was quoted saying.

With a news conference a week ago, Obama criticized Republicans for objecting to proposals to bring in more government revenue by closing tax loopholes and ending regulations for wealthy Americans, whilst he and the Democrats accept big spending cuts.

Obama spoke in more conciliatory terms in his brief remarks Tuesday, saying both sides must add up for the good of the nation along with the economy. "This will require all parties to get away from our comfort zones," he was quoted saying.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., arguing that tax hikes would kill jobs and wouldn't pass Congress regardless, again invited Obama to meet with Senate Republicans.

"The simplest way to unravel this impasse is made for obama to listen to what should be done and exactly how we can take action," McConnell said. "Hear so what can actually pass in Congress."

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., postponed a scheduled vote around the Libyan military mission and said the chamber would focus immediately on the debt talks.

"Democrats are willing to compromise," Reid said. "But compromise does not mean allowing our Republican colleagues to place the wants of a few millionaires and billionaires prior to the needs of this nation and also the world."

Celebrate Independence Day with Party

Sometimes it’s easy to forget precisely how fortunate we're, as lovers of fresh, local craft beer, to reside where we all do. I don’t just mean inside Washtenaw County area, that is indeed chock-full of great beer options, in America the gorgeous itself.
Little more than a generation ago, our country was (rightfully for the most part) derided being a land of bland swill, the laughingstock from the remaining portion of the beer-drinking world, which told off-color jokes about America’s offerings.
Now, with thanks to the rise in the craft brewing movement, America boasts the widest collection of high-quality beer styles available around the globe, as talented brewers re-discover and in many cases re-invent classic styles from my European (as well as other) forebears as well as constantly create new categories of their own - or even beers that defy categories.
So whether you’re heading up north for the cottage or lurking in your backyard for Independence Day, be sure to celebrate with a few delicious beer in one of America’s many small, independent breweries. And, naturally, if you’re sticking out, your Week in Beer has ideas so that you can rock your Fourth of july with liberty and fraternity for many, amen.
Monday, July 4, Independence Day
>> The 3rd “Dark Monday” at Arbor Brewing Co., presented with the Ann Arbor Summer Festival’s The top of Park, takes place from 7-9 p.m. Calm down using a reading of excerpts from a number of books about seminal rock ’n’ roll albums, followed by a DJ spinning songs through the featured artist. Don’t forget to get a pint or two of Festival Saison Ale, proceeds from which conserve the AASF.
Tuesday, July 5
>> The very first Tuesday with the month means beer release party over at Corner Brewery, 720 Norris, Ypsilanti. This time it’s Hell Relates to Hoptown Brown, a sturdy brown ale with citrusy hop notes balanced against an abundant, malty flavor profile. From 6-8 p.m., enjoy pints of the limited-release brew together with pizza along with other snacks. Beer release parties have the freedom for Arbor Brewing and Corner Mug Club members; $10 for infidels.
>> First Tuesday is also Brewer’s Night at the Grizzly Peak Den, 120 W. Washington St., Ann Arbor, from 6-9 p.m. As usual, there will be great beers on tap, like Yorkshire Angel, a session beer (4.6% ABV) brewed with oat malt; discounts on samplers; and around the Grizzly brewery, in which the magic happens, courtesy of brewer Duncan Williams and co. >> In fact, first Tuesdays are rather busy about the beer front, with Opera on Tap at Frenchie’s (Sidetrack Bar & Grill) in Ypsilanti, a monthly combination of culture and beer (or do I repeat myself?). The show begins at 8:30 p.m., but seating is fixed, so call 734 483-1035 to reserve your house and visit sidetrackbarandgrill.com to learn more.
Notes for the Napkin
Obligatory Wolverine beer garden update: The parking zone outside of Wolverine State Brewing, 2019 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor, is constantly on the slowly transform into an outdoor drinking area, which is important considering how short the outdoor drinking months are in our beloved Great Beer State. A gate is at place and the tables, chairs, and umbrellas are actually delivered and await deployment. Current target for opening is July 1, pending slow-moving approval from distant, lackadaisical alcohol bureaucrats without personal economic stake within their petty decisions or indecisions.
Take me out to the ballgame - with beer! Wolverine is organizing a bus day at The D July 31 to watch the second-I-mean-first-I-mean-second-place Tigers take on the L.A. Angels. Your $70 ticket includes two pre-game beers at the brewery, beer on the bus (Premium Lager), game ticket, and t-shirt. Meet at the taproom at 10 a.m. for your 1:05 p.m. game start. Check out the taproom to join up.
What’s on tap at Plymouth’s Liberty Street Brewing, 149 W. Liberty, today? Glad you asked! There’s a refreshing Biere de Garde, a summer brew approaching session strength at 4.8% ABV, and Lime Cerveza, a light, citrusy lager of slightly larger strength at 5.5%. Want something more substantial? Have a look at Liberty One, a 7% porter and three-time medalist with the World Expo of Beer, or Brewer’s Garden Amber Ale, a 6.4% brew that mixes the components of Liberty’s Red Glare Amber Ale and regular IPA. Why do not do as Patrick Henry urged and go get yourself some Liberty?
So allow it to go be written: State politicians have again waved their magic legislative wands and declared July to become Michigan Craft Beer Month, offering an answer to “commend Michigan craft brewers for providing jobs, improving the balance of trade, supporting Michigan agriculture, and educating residents about the background and culture of beer while promoting the responsible utilization of beer like a beverage of moderation.”
Lastly, for the reason that same vein, a long-awaited bill to formally lift restrictions on homebrewing clubs’ capability to meet and sample their beers at brewpubs and restaurants in addition to conduct tastings on site (e.g., for judging homebrewing competitions) passed hawaii House yesterday and today faces step 2 inside sausage-making process when it heads for the Senate’s Regulatory Reform Committee. USA! USA!

2011 Canada Days Fireworks in Toronto

So, perhaps you have made any special plans for Canada Day on Friday? In case you haven't yet decided the way to celebrate our country, there are plenty of Canada Day events in Toronto to pick from. Obviously, outdoor events involving some blend of music, food and fireworks are big this weekend, however you can also get some history in, if you want.

The Canada Day Checklist

Over on About.com: Canada Online, Susan Munroe has build a Canada Day Checklist with all the strategies to a number of questions that frequently show up now of the year. Have a look if you want to find out more on our flag, our national anthem, the Fathers of Confederation, fireworks safety, and more.

Canada Day 2011 fireworks in Toronto will be happening on a grand scale in some locations, not to mention the various shows happening in backyards and neighbourhood parks over the city. A notable absence this year, however, will be the annual show at Downsview Park, that is cancelled on account of the Tragically Hip-headlined concert going on there each day on Friday.

This is a quick rundown of the other fireworks displays in Toronto on Canada Day, which happen on Friday, July 1st (only to confirm).

Ontario Place
Although the Victoria Day fireworks were a no-go at Ontario Place in 2010, the western waterfront will once again be where you can a music-based show starting at 10:30 p.m. Always a remarkable display, the additional bonus in 2010 is the fact that admission to the grounds is provided for free because of the park's 40th anniversary celebrations.

Woodbine Beach / Ashbridges Bay
In conjunction with the Red, White, and Vinyl Canada Day Festival, Woodbine Beach will host a fireworks display decidedly bigger than the one that came about on Victoria Day. Prior to the pyrotechnics, you will see many events and musical performances, including Alannah Myles, who somehow still manages to book shows. Opt for the fireworks, not the songs. Start time is 10 p.m.

Mel Lastman Square
Getting together again for that deficiency of fireworks at Downsview Park is the annual Canada Day festivities at Mel Lastman Square, which will be preceded by musical performances. The show costs nothing and gets arrived at 8 p.m. with fireworks at 10:15 p.m.

Canada's Wonderland
As always, those looking to fork over some bucks can take it the sprawling show at Canada's Wonderland. Day admission to the park is $44.99, along with the fireworks run at around 10 p.m., weather permitting.
